It’s All in the Attitude
What’s your “fooditude”? It’s a fun little question that holds a world of meaning. As adults, we know that having a positive attitude in life can have a lasting impact on our mind, body and spirit. It helps us feel better, think better and lead happier, healthier lives. A healthy fooditude (in other words, a healthy attitude about food) affects our body in similar ways. Nourishing our bodies with healthy foods and healthy habits helps us perform better, feel better, look better, sleep sounder, heal faster and feel more energized. Coupled with a positive attitude, a healthy fooditude plays a significant role in inspiring our students to perform their best, both academically and physically. Lunchtime is a time for students to learn, develop and thrive—not just in the classroom. Together, we can create a healthy fooditude that leaves students inspired to achieve all levels of success.
How does Whitsons use the “Fooditude” campaign to motivate and inspire our students to consider the many benefits healthy eating and exercise have on their growing bodies and minds? By prompting children to answer the question, “What’s your fooditude?” while displaying colorful posters of athletes, honor roll students and musicians, connected with phrases such as:
“I up my game with high-energy foods.”
“To be smarter, I eat healthier.”
“I never miss a beat and stay in sync with a well-balanced meal.”
“I got game because I got milk.”
“I bring more confidence and vibe with fresh fruits and veggies.”
“Great performance starts with a healthy meal.”
“I express myself with creative food choices.”
We’ve got the facts—and the solutions.
